Mare Management

Whether your practice manages a small number of mares via on farm checks for breeding to shipped cooled semen or hundreds of mares on the premises for frozen semen breeding and embryo transfers, this software will streamline the process, increase efficiency, and decrease errors. The records for an individual mare’s ultrasounds are easily visible at a glance in a calendar format which can incorporate the stallion’s shipping days. The mare’s record is linked to the information for the semen being used on that mare, the records for any related recipient or donor mares, and all communication records for that mare. 

Daily Exam Schedules

The plan for the next required ultrasound exam on each mare can be scheduled as the record is entered, and re-evaluated as the plan is made for the next day. All planned checks are scheduled onto a simple check list for the day, where each mare’s name is linked to her record. Color coding of this list makes it easy for your staff to keep up with where you are in your day. Treatments are indicated on the mare’s record, and are marked as complete as they are administered.

Frozen Semen Inventory

If storage of frozen semen is a part of your practice, this software will simplify the inventory management. A ledger is updated as inventory is used, received, or shipped, and automatically keeps track of the current inventory in storage.
